On 8th March, the world comes together to celebrate and honor the being everyone calls the ‘woman.’ They are considered the underappreciated workers who have dedicated their lives to the well-being of society. Generation after generation, women have been the binding glue between morality and societal values. But, despite their unfaltering efforts, the world has failed to provide them with their basic human rights. They make up half of the world’s population and now are working steadily into making their space in places outside of their home. Doesn’t that make you feel inspired? That is women for you.

So, if you are ready to hear some good facts about women, you are at the right place.

1. Brains Of Women

Many people love pointing out the fact that women have comparatively smaller brains than men but, science has something else to say. It is true that male brains are 9% larger in size but, when it comes to brain cells, both brains have the same number. This means that female brains cells are just more densely packed together.

2. The Unfortunate Wage Gap

You’ve definitely heard about the argument regarding the wage gap. Some people believe that it doesn’t exist while others are under the impression that women don’t work as hard. These are just baseless accusations that we recommend you take with a grain of salt. Researchers have determined that in the United States of America, an average full-time working woman earns 80 cents for every dollar a man earns.

3. Dying For Love

Unfortunately, a large part of the world still engages in outdated and misogynistic traditions that undervalue women. One of the most prevailing traditions happens to be Sati, which is carried out in India and Nepal. When a man dies, his wife is burned alive with the body of her husband as a sign of love and devotion. Some women are forcefully pushed into the fire after they are drugged despite their protests.
