McDonald’s Is Now Offering a Wedding Package Priced at $235
McDonald’s Indonesia promoted a wedding catering option on its official Instagram, pitching it as a way to make wedding moments more memorable. The offer is positioned as catering, not a full wedding service, and that difference keeps the concept grounded.
The package that caught people’s attention centers on two familiar crowd-pleasers: chicken sandwiches and nuggets. The example bundle includes 100 chicken sandwiches plus 100 four-piece chicken nugget packs. That design tells you it targets couples who want predictable, easy-to-serve food that needs no explanation to guests.
What $235 Actually Buys
The reported starting price of $235 is tied to a minimum purchase of 200 products. The math basically says if you hit the minimum, you get a large stack of items and can feed a sizeable guest list without the usual catering complexity. The bundle also keeps portion control built in, since the nuggets come packed as four-piece boxes instead of loose trays that turn into a free-for-all.
McDonald’s Indonesia corporate communication supervisor Rizki Haryadi said the wedding package is only catering, and he also noted that additional service options are available. For example, the company can provide food stalls for an extra cost. Food stalls signal staffing, setup, and a closer-to-a-wedding-reception experience, even if the core purchase is still just menu items.
It’s Not A McWedding Venue In Indonesia

An important detail keeps getting repeated across coverage because it answers the first question everyone asks. The Indonesian package does not mean that couples hold the wedding ceremony inside a McDonald’s. Haryadi explicitly clarified that the offer is about the food, with pricing starting at $235 and requiring a minimum product count.
Hong Kong Did The Full Party Version Earlier
A branch in Hong Kong previously offered a more event-like option tied to the restaurant itself. Reports described a “Happiness Party” package priced around $382, including event elements such as invitations, venue setup, and audio equipment. Food could be added for an additional cost, reported at around $127.
